Container spreader manufacturer in China, supplying UK terminals since 2012

A container spreader factory in Xinxiang, China

Founded in 2012, Pulian designs and manufactures standard and non-standard container spreaders for ports, railway yards and industry.

Company profile

Built around one product: the container spreader

Xinxiang Pulian Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. started in 2012 in Xinxiang, Henan - the city known in China as the home of crane manufacturing. Our business is standard container spreaders, together with the design, development and manufacture of non-standard spreaders.

In 2015 we entered the international spreader market and began competing, and learning, alongside established global suppliers. Our equipment now works at container terminals, railway container yards and logistics companies, and has been delivered to projects in North America, Southeast Asia, Russia, Georgia and Africa.

Our technical team has worked in lifting equipment for many years, through the period in which Chinese spreader manufacturing reached international standards. Spreaders are designed to international requirements, built from high-quality high-strength alloy steel, and produced and inspected strictly to drawings and process specifications. Electrical components and control systems come from recognised domestic and international brands.

To keep quality consistent as volume grew, we organised repeated training across trades, exchanged practice with peers in Shanghai, and began building a new plant in 2017. Today the factory combines that production capacity with scientific production management and strict quality control.

How we work

Purpose

Quality builds the brand, demand drives development.

Spirit

Rigorous, practical, united, innovative.

Team

Keep learning, keep executing, keep together.

Vision

A lifting-equipment supplier that can compete internationally.

Principle

Create value for customers, a platform for employees, a return for shareholders.

Commitment

Say what we can build, build what we promised, deliver on the date we gave.

Pre-sales

What a buyer gets before the order

Most spreader suppliers quote from a catalogue. We start from the crane and the site.

Free site survey and scheme

Engineers work from the host crane, container type, load and site constraints, then issue selection, load check and drawings - a lifting solution, not a catalogue part number.

Non-standard work taken in-house

Special box types, rotation, skew, overheight and refurbishment are engineered by our own design team, with feasibility and 3D review before quotation.

Options compared openly

Where a duty allows, we price an economical standard version, a heavy-duty version and an export-specification version side by side, with the trade-offs stated.

Documentation for review

Drawings, calculations and inspection records are prepared for technical evaluation, tendering and export projects, in English where required.

Lead time and cost set out clearly

Every quotation states the delivery weeks, the main cost drivers and what would change them, so offers can be compared on the same basis.

Export packing and shipping support

Sea-worthy packing, loading plans, lifting points and shipping documents are handled in-house, with photos before the container is sealed.

After-sales

After delivery

7x24 technical line

Engineers reachable outside office hours for breakdowns on night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Remote first, then on site

Video diagnosis first; where the fault cannot be resolved remotely, Pulian commits to sending an engineer on site to carry out the repair.

Operator training

On-site training in operation, safety rules, routine maintenance and basic fault finding.

Spare parts in stock

Twistlocks, hydraulic parts and control components held for direct despatch.

Warranty and inspection records

Warranty terms are agreed in the contract, and inspection records are kept for the working life of each spreader.

Retrofit and upgrade service

Existing spreaders can be converted for new box types, radio control or higher duty without replacing the whole unit.

Tell us the crane. We will size the spreader.

Send the host crane type, container sizes and working conditions. Our engineers will come back with a scheme, a drawing and an indicative price.
